i just read an article on my fave site about vet housecalls. has anyone tried this? was it easier on your dog/less stressful? just wondering what people's experience was like. i think it's a great idea.

I remember as a kid when Doctors made house calls and it was very stressful because I always got a shot. lol
I take my dog with me in the car often so he's not stressed until he actually walk into the vets office. He doesn't associate the car with a vet.

...maybe it's horrible of me, but on the vet clinic side...I LOVE housecalls. I'm so nosey and I just love to see what's inside our client's houses! :D

it is an excellent idea, especially for older folks who can't lift their dog into the car.
for people with dogs with no training & have serious behavioral issues in the office.
but especially for dogs being euthanized. I think that is the kindest way of doing it.
there are lots of them around & they run their wheels off.
there are mobile groomers everywhere also
