I was reading an article in the June 2003 Bird Talk Magazine Issue, and it said that you should not feed your bird (any type) parsley. I bought some greens for my bird to eat at a pet shop specializing in just birds and noticed that the greens contained parsley. My budgie seems to love it and has not had any health issues concerning it. Does anyone have any info? Am I doing the right thing by feeding him this? All info would be appricated!!

If I recall...It says that parsely may not be bad for your birds. It isn't good for dags and cats but birds it is okay. And just some birds don't do well on it. If your budgie has no health issues with it keep feeding it to him.

This is how I feel about it.
If there is any questions about I won't use it....Parsley isn't a necessary food for birds' health.

The article stated that if you are gicving your bird parsley it is ok if your bird has no side effects. It is poinsonus to dogs and cats not normally birds.
