:( I need some help quiick, i recently adopted a kitten, he is about 2-3 months old. and i think he may be dying or in shock either way he is SERIOUSLY hurt, and where i live there is no vet for atleast 30 miles, hospital refused to help. here is wha apparently happen, to cut a long story short, a large bowl fell off the kitchen table and landed on the kittens head, he was bleeding from the mouth, and squirming around, and lost control of his bows, he looked dead on impact my 2 neices were xtremly upset so i quickly decided to move his away, but he was still alive he was breahing he looked so pitiful i couldnt stand to look at him i put him in m room and just faced the fact he was going to die shortly and ther was nothing to do i came back about 15 minutes later and he had gotten up and walked/cralwed/rolled behing the tv. i was releaved he was ok so i picked him and set him on the blanket where he proceeded to stumble about falling over. well its been about 3 hours now and he walks now, he walks fine but in circles? then he appears to get tired and stops and flops over then a few momentrs later the whole cirlce thing. he dosen respond to any noise, and appars to be blind he will walk into an object and meow and try to push through it. someone please help me i dont want him to suffer but dont have the heart to put him out of his myserie, i fear he may recover and i would of taken its life for no reason, is he dying? a friend told me he was in shock? someone please help me...

I'm no vet but it sounds to me like he has a severe head trauma. I would take it to the vet immediatley as I'm sure this poor baby is indeed suffering, not in shock. :(

I recently lost a cat due to an automatic garage door closing on it's head. This happened at work when I was off -- so I had no control of the situation. I am still devastated, and if I had been at work that day you can bet that I would have wisked her off to the vet whether it was 30 small miles or 500 miles and not have allowed her to suffer a minute longer then necessary. It was bad enough to lose her..... but I still get teary eyed imagining that she may have suffered for a while before passing on. You have a responsibility to get your animal aid -- even if it means that the vet must euthanize this kitten --- it is much better then letting him suffer until he passes. Putting the kitten in another room and waiting for him to die is not an option -so please rush him to the vet a.s.a.p.

I think he may have head trauma the mother has carried him and he fought her is what i'm thinking happened i'm not sure.He acts as though at first she broke his neck, but now he moves it he doesn't have control over it.I am giving him water in an eye dropper.he is having trouble breathing and he can't move to get up or anything. Can anyone help me please there are no vets open now and i don't drive anyway. If he makes it trough the night i WILL take him,but he's such a little fighter and he's so smart i have to save him.He is 7 weeks old.And he belongs to my 6 year old son. Please any advice.Could he be in shock?

no matter how far away the vet is he needs to be taken their IMEDIATLEY! sounds to me when the bowl fell on his head it possibly blinded and/or made him deph hence the walking around in circles and nt responding to sound.....ima no vet.......but the best thing for him right now is to get him to a doctor immediatley!
