...poor thing. She looks so silly today...like maybe someone punched in her right square in the face. :[

It didn't start out too bad...

Then the next day, when I put on her coat and told her she was going to see the doctor, she starting throwing a 'poor pitiful me' party. :]

...then, the doctor gave her some meds to do three times a day, and Chica hates it.

Poor Chica! I get those every once in a while. They can be pretty miserable. I did not know that dogs could get them.

...we're hoping the ointment does thetrick. If not, she'll need a bit more medication.

I didn't know dogs could get them either. Poor Chica. Looks like her eye is more irritated above then in the lower lid. That is where the sty usually drives me crazy - lower lid. I hate having a sty so I can sympathize with poor Chica.

...we were hoping it were just a sting from a bug or something, but it seems that if you pull up on the lid and look under it...there's a white bump rubbing against her actual eye. :[

Well, Chica isn't doing any better. Well...I take that back, it's not red...but it's still swollen. So, she's getting oral antibiotics and a different eye medication that doesn't make her want to rub as much. :]

...hmm, I was looking back to see how long ago it was that she got this...and it's been a whole year?! ...she's got one again, perhaps this is something I get to look forward to every New Year. :p

A seasonal thing maybe? I was disappointed that the pictures had been deleted, can you post a new one? I'd like to see what it looks like.

...hmm, I really don't know what they are caused by...but, most of the time we just use an ointment, and sometimes they actually have to be aspirated/drained.

Maybe it's something that only pollenates this time of year that brings it on?

Could be...got to be something seasonal, I suppose.
