I love this little dog so much. The picture was taken a few months ago.

Wow. She doesn't look 18 at all! :] That's pretty old for a Sheltie, too. Have you had her all her life?

I agree, she looks great. Is she still really healthy?

Tara is gorgeous. I have to agree that she doesn't look 18 at all. You surely must take great care of her.

Thank you for the kind comments about my sweet dog Tara.
Yes I've had her since she was 8-weeks-old.
She's very healthy and still gets around fantastic. We did build a ramp for when she goes outside so she doesn't have to deal with the steps. She couldn't see them well enough to manage them.
The only problem she has is eating. Her system has become really sensitive so she can't handle anything except jar baby food. For months I cooked pancakes for her, added fruits and veggies to them. Then she got tired of them so now she's on the baby food. I tried everything I could think of before the baby food.
We fondly call her our hairy bag of bones, like most older dogs she's very thin.
Thanks again for the kind comments.
