A week or so ago I posted a thread about the stray kitty outside my apartment. I haven't finished giving him his amoxicillin yet, but his URI has completely cleared up. The wound on the back of his head has gotten a lot better too and he's just the sweetest cat. I know he's going to make someone a wonderful pet. So, I'm really impatient to finish his medicine and take him to the shelter so he can start his life over again. Ahem...oh yeah...so, here's the kitty I've dubbed Heathcliff!

Oh, and here's a picture of the wound on his head (It's blurry...he wouldn't sit still). I figured I'd add this for the techs and the curious ones. It might look bad, but it was so much worse when I first saw it.

Aww, he's so pretty :) Are you able to just keep him? I think I missed your post, so I don't know the story.

Nope, I really can't. I have three cats and two dogs already. Not to mention I haven't had Dexter fixed yet because I didn't think he was old enough...but, he's certainly old enough to know what he's doing because we found out Sybil's pregnant. Sigh.
When I take him to the shelter though I'm going to sponsor him. Which means I pay the adoption fee so whoever adopts him doesn't have to. It also means that they can only put him down in very extreme circumstances. And with him being so sweet, I know he's going to find a home.

Well bless your heart anyway for what you are doing for him and sponsering him :) Another Angel in our midst:)
