I don't know what's so interesting about the bathroom..but, each and every time I go in...Chica must accompany me, 'else she sits on the other side of the door whining. Well...at least when she's sitting next to me, she doesn't look...

That's funny. At least she's polite. I have to try and beat 5 dogs to the bathroom. A few of them always make it in though, before I get the door shut.

That's funny. Our older cat Chloe is the same - she MUST accompany everyone who uses the restroom. AND, while she's at it - the human in question MUST turn the bathroom faucet on low so she can have a drink. I don't know what's wrong with the water in the water bowl..... **shrug** but we love her little quirks.

...Catillac likes the bathtub water. Perhaps the soap gives it flavor? But...if you're taking a bath...you'd BETTER let the cat in!

Mama has to accompany me too. Sometimes I have to sneak in, so she doesn't hear me. :p Phifer will too, but she just wants to play the curtain game lol.

My dogs don't care if I'm in the bathroom. In fact, they'd rather not be in there because they then think it is bath time. :) However, our cat KK, has to be in the bathroom whenever someone is using it. If she isn't allowed in, she will stick her paw under the door, meow loudly or sometimes even push against the door with her body. :D

Yep. That's what Catillac does...only she throws herself at the door if I don't let her in. :)

Cookie and Cash have to go in the bathroom with me, too. Cash stands with his front feet on my knee, and Cookie lays down between my feet.

Some how I don't appreciate Hunter sniffing the back of the bowl while I'm sitting on it! It was downright scary the othe night with 2 large cats who don't get along, inchs apart on the wet, narrow rim of the tub, and realizing that the washrag wouldn't cover very much of me if one fell in and tried to use his claws on whoever was handy to get enough traction to jump out! What is their fascination with the tub?

I don't know, nana, but my cats and the dogs sit beside the tub whining until I get out. Cash especially, he'll stand up with his front feet on the edge, and just whine at me, and look so worried! "Momma, why are you sitting in all that water?!?!?!?"

My younger cat is that way - can not STAND it if we're in the bathroom and he can't come in. When I take a bath, he doesn't sit on the side of the tub and watch. I have to prop one leg up out of the water and he lays on THAT. Usually with his tail laying across the top of the water (he's got long hair). He never notices that his tail is soaked until he's ready to go elsewhere. THen he gets up, tries to return his tail to it's custumary straight up in the air position, and notices that it's very heavy and very wet. THEN he runs through the house with water dripping off everywhere. And, of course, I not only allow it, but enjoy. ;)

Yeah, Archie, Mitty and Angel act almost afraid that somehing will happen to me in the water, while Hunter and Two Stars just want to catch the bubbles. Calamity and Witch have each come in once, taken a look at the water and fled for their lives!
I guss it's better than toddlers though, when Parker was 2 he went through a "Mommy" stage during which poor Liz couldn't even go to the bathroom without him on her lap!

I had decided to take a bubble bath tonight...Apparently the bubbles were cool and Lucky HAD to keep sticking his foot in them! When he decided to lick his feet, I had him removed...eating bubble bath can't be healthy :D
