Meet Beanie. Beanie is not 'confined' to a wheel chair, she can scoot around all day long. But, for the most part she sports the wheels. She helps in the pasture and keeps all the cats in line, and most importantly...when Mommy brings her work, she will sit and watch Chipotle for literally hours and hours.

Awww, I love those little wheelchairs. I think it's fascinating how they don't even realize their back legs don't work!

She's sooooo funny, though. She can turn on a dime in that thing! She's basically paralyzed from the middle of her back down. That includes all those organs as well. She has to be manually expressed to urinate, and the defecating just kind of falls out. She doesn't even know she's doing it. The previous owners were going to put her to sleep as they didn't have the money to try and treat...so, the doctor had them sign her over and gained a new addition.

Beanie is beautiful, Tiffers. She looks as if she's adapted very well to her wheels.

BTW, I really like the Mark Twain quote under your signature. I know quite a few people who think they have every illness they've ever read about. :D

I'm honestly not sure how long she's had them, for a long time I believe. She runs through horse pastures on them, she chase the cats, even Chipotle if I let her. :)

Oh man, I totally agree. I know some people like that, too.

I used to know a corgi that was in a similar situation. She flew around at the horse show. She never knew she had "mobility issues". It is amazing how many options are out there.
