Sits funny...

As you can see below, Boi sits funny most of the time...funny in that I haven't seen another dog sit like this. He touches his butt to the ground and then a few seconds later (unless there is food involved :D) he shifts his weight and rests on his right butt and thigh. Is that normal or am I just being paranoid?

So cute. All of my guys have their own special ways to sit. Homer sits like a little baby with his hind legs straight out.

It may be an arthritis issue, but more than likely...it may just be the way he's comfortable sitting. He's sooo cute, though. :)

Boi is one handsome fella!!
Below is the link to a foto (the small dog) of our former foster dog...Laila. She had the same style of sitting as Boi. I agree with Tiffers...it's just a comfort thing!

My ShepXBeagle Daniel sits the same way. I think it's a comfort thing too.

My old chow sat like that since we got him it was more comfy for him but he also had arthritis, his brother had arthritis also and didn't sit like that most of the time only in his old age. in my opinion i think its just more comfortable for him to sit that way, and my pup now sits like that sometimes, i hope this is at all helpful :)

That is what we called the "lazy rottie sit" all my rottn's sat like that until you said "sit pretty" and they would for as long as they got a treat. :D
