My younger siblings recently had a young cat(probably less than a year) follow them home after they mercifully rescued it from some boys that we kicking it around. So far she's been fine. Energetic, eating well, just doesn't like being picked up(we assume she's a little bit bruised). She's a very happy kitten and very pretty(grey tabby cat spots on white. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow). My mom is going to put up fliers and take her to the vet to have her scanned to see if she's chipped. If no one claims her, my mom says she may keep her. After all, her other cat, Zelda, normally hates other "intruders" but gets along fine with this sweetheart.

Also, a short while ago they had a cat that had been thrown from a truck that they were going to take to the humane society if they couldn't find a home for her. They called her Roxy Momma(I called her Roxy II) because she looked just like their cat that ran away the night before they were evicted from their condo in Colorado and moved in with my parents here in Utah. Unfortunately, before they were able to take her to the humane society, she began bleeding badly from her hind end. My sister took her to the humane society in Salt Lake where she stood a better chance of not being put to sleep right away. I can't say what has happened to her since but I hope that whatever was wrong was fixed and that Roxy found a good loving family.

I am so glad to hear your younger siblings were able to rescue this little one that was being abused. Hope you get to keep her if her owners cannot be found. Pictures please - it is the day after tommorrow alread -- where are the pictures. LOL

My husband has the working car most of the day and when he doesn't, I'm at work. I have today off though so when he gets home(in about two hours-ish) I intend to dig around until I find my camera and go up and take lots of pictures of little M (I can't pronounce or spell her name but I know it starts with M... unless it's weird which all French words are). My mom is going to take her to the vet soon to check to see if she's pregnant(we're all worried she might be. She looks a little round but that might just be cause she's scarfing down food like mad)

For an idea as to what she looks like... Someone here recently posted a picture of their new kitten which had grey tabby-like spots with white. M looks almost exactly the same except for one big white spot on her lower back. She really is gorgeous.

Pictures later today. I promise. I'll go get them, come home, download, resize, and upload.

Argh... I'm sorry about the pictures. Somehow I managed to forget that I have about three hundred other pictures I've taken of my pets or fall leaves or the mountains at sunset or even the bloody mountain when there's a storm passing through... And I have to rename, resize, reorganize, and upload every single one of them to at least two different sites. However, insomnia gives plenty of time to do so. Especially when I don't sleep at all the night before and have an 8 hour shift at work the next day.
