You will no. My cat had two litters before so i know what i am talking about. she will tell you. she will say HELP HELP!!!! it's my first time where do i go, what do i do. okay you will really no just tust me. and you need to lock her in a room and don't make any loud sounds. and she will want out of the room but don't let her it will cause her pain and it will take longer for the kittens to be born. okay? for her first litter ever she will probably have about 2 to 3 kittens. stay with her untill she has her first kitten and talk to her. it will calm her down. after her first kitten is born then pet her and tell her she did great. after that make sure the kitten is fine. DO NOT pick the kitten up. if u do she may not feed it. so make sure she is nursing it. after that check on her ever 10 to 20 minutes and make sure she is fine. then in about two hours she will be ready to deliver the next kitten if she has a next kitten. okay.... really trust me okay! then when the kittens are done nursing then you MAY pick them up... they are so adorible aren't they?:D :)

she will begin to 'nest' looking for a dark safe place to have the babies.
when she does begin labor, you can tell by her actions and lifting her tail... it will be obvious from that view. good luck.
