When I came home from work he immediately calls me so as usual picked him up and put him on the kitchen table with a full basket of mangoes, I sliced one to 3 parts one of each on a plate. While I was eating mine with a teaspoon I say hhmmmm so good with my mouth close to his face so he can hear me chew and smell the aroma :p , my son did the same and for my surprise he started to grab the spoon with his beak so I sliced a little dice for him and he ate it so we are all eating in the table and enjoy fresh mangoes..this site rocks..:) later..
BTW..he is not aggressive now as before..no bites or scratches on my sons hands..

Its great that he isn't aggressive with your son anymore.
I am going to try mangos with Marcel, too. He needs to eat more fresh fruit.
Thanks for the idea.

It's wonderful that your birds don't mind trying new foods.
My birds are so finicky, even Marcel. I just got him to like broccoli and stringbeans. He won't look at fruit, but maybe he will like the mangos. He loves french toast, pasta, chicken, and cheerios.
Snickers won't try anything that isn't dry and crispy.
That's why I make sure they eat nutriberries since they have everything they need for health.
Any tips on getting Marcel to eat more fruit?
