My cat cannot sleep. Im worried. Please help me.

My cat has been sick for the past three days. She will not eat, she will not drink unlessed forced and all she does is cry then vomit water. Shes very dehidrated. Today I took her to the vet and he took a blood test and said nothing is wrong with her accept dehydration pretty much. She hasnt slept for days, and cant seem to get compfortable no madder which way she turns. Shes not acting like her normal self. How can i get her to go to sleep. Im pretty sure that shes getting herself sick since the vet said nothing is really wrong with her. She is just exhausted, lack of food, shes filled with water from an IV and she hasnt slept yet. Any feedback or sujestions would be great, ill do anything to make her better. :(

Oh my..... what you are describing does not sound to me that "nothing is wrong" !!! Can you get another vet's opinion? I think she sounds very sick.

I am sorry you are having such a problem with your cat. She sounds very sick to me. What kind of "blood test" did the vet take? I do not like that vet's attitude and I agree that you should take your cat to another vet.

A cat that will not eat is sick. She could have dental problems, or kidney disease or hyperthyrod or diabetes or any number of other illlnesses. They probably gave her subcutaneous fluids (under the skin) not IV (in the vein) and the lump that forms from the subq fluds is normal.

Please find another vet to take your cat to. Ask friends or coworkers where they go, for referrals.
