Please post we want to hear about you, your birds, and we need more people giving advice as well. . We really want you to.

Hi,
Yes, I am one of those who have looked through the forum but never posted... until now.
My name is Rae, I am in Ireland and have two birds at the moment. One is my baby, Monty a 2 1/2 year old male CAG and Joe who is "visiting". Joe is a crimson rosella who flew into a friends garden. He was wild for about a fortnight and spent six weeks in a section of a pigeon coop until I took him on. I am waiting to hear from a rosella breeder who said he would take him on. I think he was attacked by wild birds as he only has down on his back and is bald on the tips of his wings. Luckely he hasn't been plucking and his feathers seem to be improving. If anyone has any advice on rosellas I would love to hear.
I also have two rescue dogs Harvey and Lady.
Hope this introduction isn't too long.

I was wondering the same thing- why there's so many members that have never posted? So to anyone who fits that description, we'd love to hear from you even if you don't have a parrot or only know a little about them! :)

Welcome to you and your CAG. He looks like a handsome guy.
Good luck with finding Joe a home.....or maybe you can add him to your family.

P.S. I have a 2.5 yr. old female cockatiel, Snickers
3.5 yr. old Maximillian Pionus, Marcel
and four budgies, Razzle, Dazzle, Chubbee and Frisbee, all approx. 2.5 yrs.

Welcome! Glad to hear from you about your birds! I hope you find a good home for the rosella too. Sorry that I don't have any information about them to give you.

Hi Jenny,
Thanks. I think he is doing well, but I know that Rosellas need the company of other Rosella which is why I need to get him to this breeder soon. I think he is doing okay, but I know I cannot keep him as we travel to my home city (250 miles away) quite often. We bring Monty with us but another bird would be impossible. Especially with a rosella as it would be two!! If anyone is in Ireland and has an interest in Rosellas I'd love to know.

welcome!! I love meeting new pet humans many ones owned by greys. I don't have any parrots right now but will be getting a baby lovebird very soon and a Timneh grey at the end of this year.
I've never heard that you have to keep two or more Rosellas I've seen many that were in one bird familys and they were very happy and loving.
