my puppy ate a chicken bone :(

yesterday my 5 month old shihtzu Cassie ate a chicken breast bone off of a plate that was left on my table by my husband.
she has already gone to the bathroom three times since then but i am still worried.i'm not sure how serious this can get but was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes for dogs to pass chicken bones and if i should still be worried?she seems fine but shouldn't she have passed it already?when she went i didn't see anything in her stool?

Well, I do know that you shouldn't feed chicken bones to your dogs.

But, my dog has managed to get away with bones, and he's quite alright. But he is big in size, and I take it that your ****zu is a small dog.

If you're really worried, you can take her to a vet.

ACtually, dogs shouldn't eat chicken bones because of their small splinters.

Did the breast bone have splinters? If it didn't, hopefully, she's alright.

I would guess by now that she has already passed it. If it had done any damage you would more than likely see blood in her stool. I'm sure she's fine. :)

well today is day 3 since she ate the chicken bone and so far so good.she has a vet visit tomorrow so i'll have the vet check her over and maybe takes x-rays if he thinks he should.
