Lol, so cute how she just rolled over submissive.

She can play with all the big dogs cuz her shirt makes her look dangerous. Hehe.

hahaha thanks guys
yeah she doesn't seem to care much for small dogs and vice-versa

i think the big dogs see her as a nice furball they can play fetch with and they don't have to wait for someone to throw her...she just runs and they chase her. lol she's badass. haha

I always said I would never have a small dog, but this was before I had big dogs (well before I had any dogs actually) and now I sooooo wish I could shrink Vernon down. I'd like a chihuahua or a pom or something like that, but I don't think I want to get anymore at all! Argh. There was the cutest lil chinese crested cross on Dog Whisperer and I just melted when I saw her, she was the size of a kitten and all fluffy and sad. But then she died. So I was sad too.

ohh that is so sad. yeah i love my little furball though I've always wanted big dogs (but my parents won't let me have one). I vowed that as soon as I move out I will adopt a pitbull from a shelter. There are so many of them needing homes and needing an owner who is willing to train them the right way. And of course it would just look so cute having a pitbull and a yorkie walking down the street lol.

It'd certainly make people look twice!! Maybe if there were more pitts living with small furry things people would stop with all the BSL poo.

^^^yes perhaps

funny we get into this because the pitbull in the picture was rescued as a 5wk old puppy by his owner. The owners weren't taking care of the puppy. was malnourished and covered in feces and the puppy's mother had bit him and the dog still has a big scar on his back from the bite. Thank god for this man who rescued him just went to his "friend" and asked him to hand over the dog. Now the pitbull is the sweetest dog ever. soooo nice and playful.

they caught my attention at first because the guys repeated about 3 times before coming in the dog run that his dog is very sweet and gentle and didn't let him loose until we agreed that he could come in. It's absurd that he feels the need to do that just because I'm sure he's had bad experiences before with people not letting him in. The pitbull actually got attacked a few weeks back by an english bulldog female. The owner told me to watch out because the owner of the english bulldogs (theres 2 of them) comes to this dog run all the time.

I live in a city of over 200,000 people...you'd think someone would build a dog park!

I think there have already been some rumblings about it...but it takes a back burner to our recently completed arts center...$40 million dollars later...maybe now the city will be willing to talk about springing for a dog park. This city and county is so unusual about animals...we have a voucher program for spay/neuter ...for $50 you get spay/neuter, shots, microchipping... great deal huh? Well, the program has been so successful that they are complaining and thinking of increasing the price to $75. How's that for logic?!

ugh yeah that's annoying....So far i found this spay/neuter voucher program but it'll cost me around $67 just to spay my pooch. Which is still a good deal considering how expensive it is going straight to the vet.

I don't like dog parks

-a bunch of dogs of various backgrounds and training
- some not spay/neutered
- some without vaccines
-some not wormed
-some owners with no clue about posturing and dog body language
- too many different personalities
- no true pecking order

All that plus more + major problems in th making

add to that if you own a bully breed such as an APBT and no matter how good your dog is even if another dog is the one who starts if yours does anything most likely you will be blamed because of the public stereotype of the breed

Just food for thought
