Okay, you asked for it. (I tried to find some that I thought would be WAY easier than others...as I see this stuff everyday, it doesn't bother me...but most of you guys don't...so I kept that in mind.)

Hahahahahaha! That's awesome! :D
At work, you'll hear "Ewe! Gross! That's Stinkin' Sweet!" or "Ugh! I think I'm gonna puke that's so cool!"
Veterinary Technicians are a rare breed, I tell you. :)

I am amazed that poor turtle lived long enough to need euthanasia! Looked like he/she was crushed? Guess I know where Tiffers gets her fascination with these things, I enjoy seeing these pics, too! Have watched a couple neuterings at the vet clinic, too.
Thinking about getting into vet asst or tech, just don't know if I can hack going back to school. That would mean I gotta get up in the morning and actually function! LOL

Oh my! I'm glad I already ate my breakfast! I guess when looking at pictures like this we have to realize that the animals are being helped.

...only two of them didn't make it. The turtle, obviously...and the Exploratory Abdomen. That was the cat, Jinx, that got attacked by the dogs that I posted about earlier this month or last.

I can so relate to those words, and we add "ohhh that's gonna leave a mark"
they were cool pics, but the turtle hit by a car disturbed me more than the eyeball :( poor turtle

You know, I never thought I could handle this stuff until I started working at the vet clinic. Now I know I can handle whatever I need to to help an animal.
I wish I had pictures of the shar pei someone brought in to our clinic this week. They said he was in a dog fight. But, two of the girls I work with think it can't possibly have been a fight. I think it could have been, but I bet if it was it had to have been an illegal dog fighting ring. We shaved him where ever he had a wound and he was practically bald in the end. He had at least one hole in him the size of my fist and quite a few more a little smaller. So, we shaved him, we cleaned the wounds, etc. We put him back in his cage...and I'm looking at him...and I see white things squirming in some of the holes...they were maggots. THAT was the point when I almost lost my breakfast. So, you know the owners had to have waited a few days to bring him in...maggots don't hatch in wounds over night. I don't go back til Tuesday, but I really hope this guy makes a recovery.
