I noticed that when I take my blue and gold out, he dances to the music on the radio. I would like to know if anyone elses birds dance, and what their favorite group, band, or singer is? Taz's favorites are Queen and George Thorogood.

Dancing usually indicates a mating ritual. I've noticed Perk singing more than dancing to music but maybe that's a lovebird thing?

Taz is starting to sing along to "Bad to the Bone", but he learned to dance first.

Birds dance because they like music. My budgie dances to 50's music and my pi likes school house rock.
So if they like it they dance.

The only problem is that I usually have cops looking for an excuse to pull me over to learn about my bird. I have not yet met one that did not decide to buy himself a parakeet.

Marcel and Snickers like to listen to Elvis and Dixie Chicks (even though they are out of favor these days) in the morning. Marcel dances back and forth on his perch. Snickers squawks when I turn the music off.

I guess none of my birds are the toe-tapping, head-bobbing, music-loving kind. Maybe it's because I have music on so much, they realize that if they even started to dance to it they'd be dancing all day and completely wear themselves out! :D

My CAG Monty just loves Counting Crows (good taste). He starts singing and gets very active any time I put them on.

Taz sometimes pics radio stations on his own. He knows how to operate the controls.
