liver problem

My Siberian Husky (female dog) has a liver problem and the doctors are nto optimistic. Meanwhile she eats very little and is very weak.

Should i insist on feeding her? If yes, what kind of food?
Anybody knows what can help a failing liver?

I'm so sorry. I don't have any experience with liver problems. How old is your dog? I don't think she will eat if she doesn't want too. I do have experience with a very sick dog...but his problem is pancreatic tumors. Someone else may have some advice for you about the food and what to expect with the liver trouble. I can say, I feel for you and understand how you must be feeling. Sometimes all that we can do is to love them for as long as we are lucky enough to have them.

Did they give you a diagnosis, or just that the liver is failing?
