View Full Version : Somebody eats Nails!

...this dog was hit by a car, the doctor saw it happen and picked him up and brought him to work with her. Thankfully he had tags. Anyway, upon xray we found that he eats nails...silly guy.

(You can see them in his stomach. It almost looks like one is piercing the lining, but we're not sure yet.)

Unfortunately, his butt is broke. When the pelvis breaks, it always breaks in three places. Don't know why that is, but that's the way it is.

I've circled the breaks. I'm sorry it's sooo small...I resized it too small. (Also, the dot at the bottom is a bullet that hit the bone and flattened.)

...he went home, and then his owner's took him back to their clinic. (They weren't our clients. Last I know, he wasn't eating on his own...but otherwise fine.) So, I really don't know.

You said there was a bullet. Was that an old wound? Hope he does better.

Yeah, it's healed over and everything. You could feel it right under the skin. :)

The owners called back today, he's not doing good. He won't eat. They've been force feeding him. :(

...not good. He walks around, but when he poops...he doesn't strain or act painful...but, it's very, very bloody...

...I don't know. We were bending the rules for this lady, who we later found out knew her dog was following her to the highway and did nothing about it...but, she apparently is fed up with the dog and we haven't heard from her in a few days.
