(No, he's not mine. He's a client's.)

He came in for a dental today. :)

He had three teeth when he came in, and two when he left. His mommy loves him to pieces even if his tongue sticks out all the time!

I think he's awesome, just thought I'd share him with ya'! :)

What a baby!!!! Max's tongue pokes out a bit now too...everyone thinks it's cute but I have a feeling Max thinks it's a bit undignified!

...you know, I'm sure there is such a thing as "cosmetic" denistry for doggies! :)

Thanks guys, when we told the owner Chip needed his tooth cleaned again, she just laughed and laughed. But, she did go right out and schedule it. :D

That's awesome!!

Now I'm confused though.. I was told that it was actually a wives tale that the tongue would not hold itself in without teeth. Just like with humans. Have you heard differently, I take it?

...I don't know either, but it seems that most the dogs we have without any teeth in the front have a small portion of their tongues hanging out. But, tis a good question indeed.

chinese cresteds tongues fall out of their mouths bc very rarely do they keep their teeth their wholes lives. have you ever seen the world's ugliest dog competition? a chinese crested wins every time bc they are so ugly. and their tongues are always hanging out. and i dont mean slightly...i mean flopping around type hanging out. its funny looking.

Yes I have seen that competion, and it makes me laugh, but also feel sorry for the poor guys. My miniture Pincher is 16 years old now. Some of you have seen pictures of her. Her name is Amber. We had to have 8 of her teeth pulled a few years ago. Now her tongue always hangs out to the left.
