Dog threw up liquid yellow stuff??

My dog didnt' eat anything bad last night, and was acting fine until this afternnoon. That isn't some kind of dog illness is it? The yellow is kind of strange....:confused:

I looked on this health site 4 dogs, & they said "Usually when a dog has a empty stomach, they throw up yellow (bile) stuff.
(I was scared there for a minute!)
If it keeps happening though.. i'm taking her to the vet.

Yellow is bile, and I think you gave yourself the best advice. If it keeps happening, a vet visit is in order.

hope your dog is fine... but here is my experience with my dog and the yellow bile vomit. My dog sometimes will vomit up bile when he has has to deficate and hasn't been let out to do so. I don't know if that is a noraml thing or not, he was tested for numerous things years ago when I first noticed, but then the 2 became sanonamous together and the vet said there was nothing wrong. I just let him out when he barks the first time and no more vomiting. :eek:

My dog will throw up bile if it has been more than 12 hours since she ate....usually she does not want to eat anything immediately afterwards. I will give her a little treat that of course, she will eat! Then it'll settle her stomach and she is ready to eat again.
