 I just picked up our puppy (basset hound) Wednesday night, she was being treated for kennel cough, she had 5 days of breathing treatments and was send home with a med to finish over the next five days. Well tonight she seems worse and is coughing more and running a fever. We were at the vet yesterday and they didn't seem to make much of it. I am worried is there anything I can give her for the fever? She is very restless tonight and just can't seem to get comfortable, not eatting very well at all (little to nothing). Is is 11 weeks old and 16 pounds I do have dog asprin here can she have that? I haven't called the vet back today so to she just really got worse tonight.

...what do you mean by dog aspirin? Something OTC or something the vet gave? You should NEVER give Tylenol or Aspirin to your animals, especially cats.

What is her temp.? Dog/cat temps run higher than humans. If you're excessively worried, give a quick phone call to an emergency vet clinic and they may be able to quell your fears. Hang in there.

LAst night her temp was 104, Friday at te vet it was 103 and they didn't seem real concerned other than she couldn't have her shots. I swear this is worse than having a new baby in the house LOL. She does seem a little better today, she has a little more energy and ate over half her food :) so thats a good thing. How long does it normally take to get over kennel cough? I have never had any dogs with it before.
Thanks for the help,

There are many, many strands of Kennel Cough, like the Flu. You can't vaccinate for them all, and vaccines are NEVER 100%.
Some dogs do better in recovery than other's also. So, there's really no "set" time that'll tell you when your dog will suddenly be better.
Normal temp is 101 to 102.5. 103 isn't bad at all. It could be nervousness, it could be not feeling well, it could be anything. We are generally not concerend with 103 either. (Does the vet know her temp is rising?)
Your baby will be just fine, just give her some time. :)
