Hi all,
My dog was diagnosed with liver disease. It's believed to have been brought on by mediaction she's been on to treat seizures. If any of you has had any experience w/ this in your dog(s) could you please post? I'd like to know what kind of things to expect, and especially, what kinds of things I can do to promote healthy liver function and delay the progression of the disease.

I give Bootsie Hill's w/d, I give her milkthistle in her food each morning, as well as Life Exxtension and S.O.D. supplements from the Solid Gold company. I also give her 200 iu's of Vit E every other day.

It'd be great to hear from others who are going through this with their dogs. (But perhaps it would also be great if no one posted at all, as that would mean no dogs have had to suffer through this...) Thanks

Thank-You so much, Python!!

These links look really good, and I've bookmarked them all! I don't have the time that I want to spend on them, so I will have those links saved for later this evening! Thank-you again! (I thought I'd scoured the net pretty good, but these seem to be far more informative than anything I was able to come up with)!

((((MariaRosa))))

How is little Bootsie doing? I'm so sorry to hear about this. I missed this when you posted back in February. She is such a little doll and from some of your postings in the past it seems like she has a terrific spirit and has overcome so much. Keep us posted.
