I am new here but in need of help badly. I have been searching for answers ALL day and will take any suggestions.
My 1 year old Bassett Hound has been throwing up everything the last 24 hours. Every weekend we give him either chicken or steak and this weekend it was steak as a treat. However, last night he started throwing up bile and has not stopped. He threw up 4 times last night, all yellow and foamy however, no solid food. This morning we fed him a small regular breakfast which he quickly therw up. Over the course of the day he has thrown up at least 10 times, all bile. He will not drink any water but still has as much energy as normal. I read to feed him boiled chicken, which we did for dinner and he threw that up within 15 minutes.
I think that he might have some kind of food poisoning from the steak we gave him.
Does anyone have ANY suggestions about what I can feed him to help settle his stomach. I can tell he is hungry, he always is, but I hate to see him in this condition. I sincerely appreciate any and all replys on this topic!
Thank you in advance.
