View Full Version : please need help quickly
I need all the advice i can get. i have a nine month old kitten. Male , neurted. we were on the way back from a vet visit. the car started acting up so i pulled off the main road onto a small road and got out to check under the hood. in the meantime the kids were gonna play with him they opened the cat carry door well out he went straight into the woods. we have searched high and low i went back over their this morning and called and walked. he's never been outside. can you help with any ideas?

I'd be willing to bet he is close by and maybe even watching you.Put some food out for him so he will have something to eat.Theres no gaurantee you will get him back but give him a reason to come home.

Were you close to home at all? Maybe the cat will find it's way back home. It took 3 weeks but I had a dog do that. Good luck and keep us posted. Sending prayers your way.
update on kitten today we went back over looked for hours no sign of him anywhere. i feel like he's still in the area but i just don't know. he jumped out of the car into those patch of woods. he's never been outside before i know he's scared to death. i did visit with several neighbors and they felt like he would stay in the area i just don't know what to think. i did go to the shelter today he wasn't their.
I constantly worry that my cat who also has never been outside will get out. I feel so sad for you. Keep checking the area shelters. You can put up signs in the area and put an ad in the newspapers. Maybe someone will find him. I wish you all the luck.

Oh no... Im so sorry to hear this :(. Any updates?. Have you tried taking a can of tuna.. or some real smelly food out to where he disappeared?. If he smells it, he may come to you... its been awhile.. keeping fingers crossed and sending prayers your way.

well yes...... give hikm the really nice canned food somewhere close to the beginning of the woods.. u may see him again
