My daughters cat has a deep cut on his back paw. The pad on his paw is half ripped off and is down to the meaty part of the paw. He won't let you put a bandage on it. Have been putting neosporin on it but of course he licks it off. Been keeping him inside. Is there anything else that can be done to help his paw heal? Open for suggestions!:)

Sounds like a vet call to me, may need stitches or cauterizing.

Is it still bleeding? A vet call would probably be the best choice. Otherwise I would be very carefull about infection. Not much you can do if she won't let you bandage it

Something similar to that happened to my dog once. It required suturing, a foot cast (to take the weight off the cut while it healed) and a full leg bandage for about a month (you can't just tape the foot or they will pull off the bandages).
Sounds like a vet call to me!

a vet visit for sure. You wouldn't want the kitty digging in the litter box and getting an infection!
