The following person posted at a forum I frequent. I know we have some rodent lovers on this board, and I told her I'd cross post. I am willing to assist in transport of these mice to anyplace within an hour of Poughkeepsie, NY; Albany Area, NY; Binghamton Area, NY; Watkins Glen Area (and anything along Route 17 on the way) NY; NYC; Boston Area, MA; Danbury Area CT; Scranton Area PA; and Northern (near NYC) New Jersey.
Hello all, I've had mice for about a year now, and have wound up with a colony of 5 beautiful female mice. Unfortunately even though I've been trying extremely hard to keep the smell down, my parents still think they stink too much, so I have to part with them Personally I don't smell them at all, not even when I walk inside from out in the fresh air, but for some reason my parent's noses must be ridiculously keen. They're in Putnam County NY and I would be willing to drive to deliver them and their set up to their new home, or meet someone half way. I'll be asking a small fee of $20 for all five of them plus their setup, which includes a 10 gallon aquarium, cage topper, organic food mix that I make myself, and whatever toys are in there including wheels and such.
Please, I really want these girls to go to a loving home. I also would love it if they could stay together as they're exremely bonded, but I might consider splitting into groups of 2/3 if the right person asks.
