So, I'm not sure if anyone else's pets do this...but, I am curious to know.
Whenever I go to the bathroom...absolutely EVERYONE must go with me. Catillac will sit on the side of the tub. Chica will set at my feet, and Hercules (the foster kitty) attacks either Chica or Catillac.
Everytime I go...the MUST be there or one of them cries from the other side of the door. It's crazy. So, if I have to pee really really bad...I have to stand there and wait for everyone to come in just so I can go in peace.
I guess, the really weird part is this...they stare at me. Probably wondering what in the world I'm doing...hahahaha. Silly pets.

my cats only try to come in the bathroom when i take a shower and i have to be sure the door is latched because one of my cats can open and close unlatched doors. that same cat likes to get in the tub after someone has showered i think she likes the water but im not sure

Sounds like my life! I have a very small bathroom upstairs, and five dogs that insist on making going potty a family affair!! I have finally quit closing the door all the way... I push it shut enough for privacy from my husband, but leave it open enough so that the my five little holy terrors can join me for the potty party.

I leave my bathroom door open because it is in the master bedroom and there is no one else that can walk in on me...except for the 3 dogs.
They used to sometimes stand outside the door and stare at me. If they stepped in the room with me, I'd tell them "out" and they would leave quickly, almost like they understood the situation. Now they stay away. Sometimes they will look in and see me in there and quickly leave like shouldn't have seen anything. I think it's funny.

I had the same situation with our one dog and she understands now. The cat however is a different story - she will sometimes run in right behind us. LOL
Jaylene, I must have missed you adding a third dog. When did that occur and what kind of dog did you add?

It's been that way for 16 years with me. Robbie{cat} sits on the side of the tub reaching in the water for my hand to come up with a palm of water. I tell her to get off my potty so I can use it, I don't get in her way when she needs the litterbox.

: ) Catillac gets so upset when I mess with her litterbox. She runs over immediately and lays down in it...like she doesn't want me to clean it or even put more litter in...she never uses the silly thing (she goes outside) but boy oh boy...I'm not allowed to touch it! : )

That is funny. My dogs do it too but I never knew that cats also do it. I have 5 Yorkies that have to be with me no matter where I go in the house or what I am doing.

If the door isn't shut Cody (moms dog) will nose it open. He can't stand a door that is only open a crack. It has to be either OPEN or CLOSED. lol
My boyfriends cat has a fit if we go in the bathroom and shut her out. She just HAS to be in there with you. We have a chest thing that holds TP and she loves to lay on it. At night she hangs out in the bathroom on the chest. Heck she even sleeps in there during the day.
Guess it's the best place to get attention considering that we ALL go there. And she is in easy reach so we have no excuse not to pet her. She will lay there and give you a look that says "How can you sit there and NOT pet me? Aren't I cute enough?"
Yeah, you don't have a chance in our bathroom. :)
