my best friend Runty

I had to put my little cat Runty to sleep 4 days ago. She was my best friend and I miss her so much. I cry a lot yet and always still look for her when I get home from work. She was always there to meet me at the door. I got to enjoy her for 20 years, but will miss her forever. I think about the times she would come on the bed at night and wake me up by sticking her whiskers in my face so I would get up to feed her. I loved it and miss it. We buried her in our backyard by the ferret we had lost a few years earlier. She has a great head stone that reads Runty, our first pet, July 1987 to May 2007.
She was our baby and will be missed and thought about forever. It is still so hard to believe that she is gone.
