Remember those cute little chicks in the basket I posted a while back? Well here they are today, about 9-10 weeks old now.

Oh my gosh, I can't imagine having chickens in my living room! LOL Now that they are growing up or all grown up, what will you be doing with them?

It looks like they're wearing bell-bottoms. : ) I'm housesitting for my mom, and she's got like 50 chickens. Some of them are so sweet and nice and let you hold them and stuff...and some of them...well, we won't mention that. : )

I can't believe how big they've gotten. Since one's a hen and one's a cock, will you be having more little chicks?

No, I'm going to try and avoid more chicks. I couldn't have more chickens and I don't think I could find decent homes for them.

They're absolutely beautiful! I love their feather patterning and coloration. I wish my chickens were smaller; I have huge chickens, so I can't let them out in the house for long unless I want a golf-ball-or-larger sized turd in the middle of my livingroom.

Yikes. Golf ball sized turds would be a bit too much for me. In the living room anyhow. I don't get to see a whole lot of chickens. I don't even know how big full sized ones get. Are they a lot bigger than banties?
