About three months ago my dog Hoover was diagnosed with slight kidney failure. The vet gave him antibiotics and the next blood work was normal. She said he might not have kidney failure. He did not eat for a day & a half so I took him to the vet for more blood work. This test showed his BUN at 42. I have been cooking for him since the diagnosis. The Hills kidney failure diet. I do not have a lot of confidence in my vet to treat Hoover. I am condidering the purchase of the three week herbal program from Five Leaf Pet Pharmacy and would appreciate opinions about Holistic treatment for kidney disease. If someone knows of a forum that deals with only canine kidney failure would you give me the address. Hoover & Kirbey were stray dogs six years ago when they adopted us. They are both 53 pound dogs. Hoover is probably ten years old and Kirbey seven. They are very close and we love them both very much. Thank You Norman

Hi,

I can't speak to the kidney program, but I am currently using the heart program on my dog, and he's improved tremendously. Amanda (the owner of the company) is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure you follow the whole program to get the maximum benefit. Yes, the hydrotherapy is very important.

Good luck.
