Hi I was wondering if birds have a sence of smell? I know they have taste buds on the roof of their mouth. I was told they only taste not smell?

No, most birds don't have a well developed sense of smell, although some do, like Turkey vultures. Recently some researchers designed some experiments and found that the main way that the vultures find their food is by smell!(isn't that cool?) Most birds aren't like that, though! (otherwise, kirby would be trying to get in our fridge and oven every chance he could get!)

Very few birds have a sense of smell. Kiwi's and vultures can smell.
