As you can see i love the birds especially wild ones. This is Sally and i took this in a small lake.It was taken with a old Cannon AE1 with a 200mm lense at a very low aperature.sally came close to winning a big Photo contest.Salleys not wild.LOL

If I had been the judge, Sally would've won for sure! That photo is awesome, and I especially love the background coloring.

Jenny by using a low aperature you can blank out the backround.Thats why i love to play with cameras with manual settings. If you get a chance to get a old camera with manual settings get it and play.

Ah, I see. I've always been interested in photography but never gotten into it, for one because I've never had my own camera. I got a nice used one recently (I think a Cannon, have to double check) so as soon as I read the manual, I can try it out! Once I master that, I can try to find an older one to play around with. Sounds like fun!

You may find one pretty cheap on EBAY or YAHOO.I would reccomend a Cannon AE1 or any of them that Cannon started with.
