I fed my dogs some cuts & gravy food today becouse some times they dont want dry kibble so when that happens I mix 1/2 kibble 1/2 cuts & gravy and they will eat. I took a chance today and have been looking all night for simtums of kidny falur or what ever the dogs suffer that ate the 'tanted' food. the brand I fed I didnt find on the recall list BUT yesterday they said that the same wheat stuf was used in 2-3 other brands of cuts & gravy food but we dont know what other brands yet. I just want to be shure and get info BEFORE they get sick. PLEAS HELP!!! I herd on the news that they have the simtums on there website but I cant find the info  Im very stressed, and it hit me AFTER the ate the food, I did wonder before I fed it but It really hit after LOL.

Call a vet... they will know what to do if they are sick and will be able to tell if they are sick...

It's only cans/pouches from a particular lot number. Either way, for peace of mind, get to your vet and get those kidney enzymes checked!

I have kidney failure and my symptoms were a loss of energy and flu like body ache. I don't think one meal will kill. The kidneys have an enormous amount of excess ability. One can live on only 10% of function and many people are born with one kidney and no one knows until the autopsy, 80 years later, if ever. I would not worry about it and go and sin no more.

and you would have thought people would start boycotting this food..

go here...

http://www.menufoods.com/recall/product_dog.html

and find the name brand of the food you fed.....

click it..and there is a list of the bad foods..check if your container matches up w/ any of them... and i suggest you might want to avoid it in the future..

plus.. peta is saying that dry food might be bad too..they havent released a statement w/ what foods.. but it is food that doesnt contain wheat.. it has excess amount of vitamin D.. some dogs overdosed and died ...so becareful everyone! my dog is currently on rice and boiled chicken w/ some carrots diet..

Hi,

I've changed the homepage on my cat and dog treats site to provide information for pet owners about the pet food recall.
I'm trying to keep it as update and useful as possible.

Please have a look, and let me know if you think there is anything I should add to it.

Hope it helps!
