I really need some help! Well, first of all Angel is a four-year-old Tabby cat and loves her treats maybe a little too much. She gets about five treats a day (maybe more) Also is this too much treats for her? She seems to only want her treats instead of cat food. I know that cat food is healthier for cats and treats don't have all the vitamins that cats need, so I'm worried. Angel won't eat anything else but treats. Once in awhile she'll eat her food, but most of the other times, she'll just be eating her treats. I really need some help! Thank you!

Stop giving her treats. She will eat when she is hungry. Cats will not starve themselves. Once she has started eating again, give her one treat a day. Try to do it at the same time every day, so she will expect one at that time and not all of the rest of the time.

I use regular premium cat kibble as their treats. For my cats at least it's the ritual of treat time that is important. They love the special attention of being hand fed a few pieces of kibble, all of us sitting on the floor around the treat mat. They don't care that its their regular food I'm giving them. Calling it treats, and hand feeding it around the treat mat makes it treats.

One of my cats prefers to chase her treats. While the other two are getting hand fed around the mat, the third one waits, poised to chase, for me to toss each kibble for her to chase across the room.
