Of course you wouldn’t! But what about your pet?? If you are feeding only pet foods to your beloved “friend”, then you are indeed feeding them an “animal” version of fast foods! Pet foods (even higher quality foods) have very little nutritional value…..in fact what little nutrition they have in the beginning are destroyed in the manufacturing process!
Did you know that our pet foods can contain the following: spoiled meat, packaging material, slaughterhouse meat, sick, dying & diseased animals, steroids, & Phenobarbital (drug used to euthanize animals)? I didn't know this, not until I did the research.
Our pets are dealing with the same medical problems as we humans are (obesity, diabetes, cancer, heart problems, arthritis, allergies). Did you know that the maximum life span of our dogs & cats is estimated to be 25-30 years.....HOWEVER, the "average" pet only lives 13-14 years!! So sad!!
Please educate yourself and do some research.......what you will find will SHOCK you!! We owe it to our pets to give them the best nutrition & care possible!!
