First, hello to everyone on this site. I am new & I have been tormented with a problem and hoped someone here might have an idea for me. I am a single mom of 3 with 3 cats (adult rescues), dog (cavalier king charles spaniel), 2 birds (sun conure & cocatiel rescued from abusive ex husband) & a goldfish (10 yrs old). I feed all the strays in the neighborhood & if I can catch them I spay them, as well as let one in (quarantined) in the cold weather. Because of my love for these cats outside I now have found myself with 2 kittens for the past 5 months. They were born in my shed & I caught them with the intention to socialize them and find them homes. I have tried very hard to find homes, yet nothing. Posters up in school, etc. Now we are in love with these kitties & finding a home seems like it won't happen. They have become very attached to each other and I cannot live with giving them to a rescue or shelter. Idealy a home together to someone I KNOW with love them would make all happy. I am engaged & the addition of these 2 babies is putting tension on our future. The menagerie was large enough before. Does anyone have another suggestion? I am broken hearted & out of ideas.
