Taz, my blue and gold loves to watch T.V. with us. Last friday, I took him to a drive-in movie in Warwick N.Y. and we saw Finding Nemo and The Inlaws. Taz loved being there and pigged out on snacks. He enen ate an entire cheese burger on his own. We both got lots of attention. I learned that it is hard to explain that you have a bird in the back seat that is saying things, when you are trying to pay for just yourself to get in to see a movie. I had to climb back to his cage and get him out so the person at the box office could see that I was telling the truth. My question to everyone is. Do your birds like watching movies, and do you ever take them anywhere strange? By the way, Taz loves people and if I have him with me and walk past someone and just ignore them, he will pull on my ears to try to point me in their direction so he can greet them.

J.

That is soooo cute. LOL. I can just imagine him at the drive-in.

My Pionus, Marcel, loves to watch TV with us. If we leave the room he cries for us to come back.

His favorites are cartoons and he will sit through prime-time sitcoms too. Around 7pm, he loves to "sound off" in front of the TV and starts talking. Usually that's time time all his words and phrases come out. Then 8 pm is his "nite nite" time.

TAZ sounds like such a wonderful companion....you do such a great job with him.

My Orange Wing, Loki, loves cartoons and Animal Planet. Whenever there are birds on TV, he starts whistling and flaring his tail.
