This was very sad. I couldn't imagine having to leave my animals, but unfortunately with everything going on overseas it must be happening alot.
I sent this to my neighbor who has 3 Saints. I'm hoping she passes it on to other Saint people. She said it made her cry.

That's awful! We had a situation like this a few months ago. The people gave the dog to someone else. The new owner's lost the dog, the dog was hit by a car and the new owner's didn't think the dog was worth it, so they had us put her down. Then, the old owner's had heard about her getting hit, called us and wanted to know how she was doing...you know, it breaks your heart to bear that kind of news.
It amazes me that people will take an animal from a good home and be utterly careless with it. If you can't give it a better home, don't even bother inquiring about it.
