Ok, here's the thing, it's been so cold lately, here in Michigan, that my dogs are getting overweight and having a bit of trouble with getting up and all, and I thought that if I could find a hydrotherapy place in Michigan, that might help them. Since that type of stuff is pretty low-impact in terms of stress put on the limbs and muscles, I thought that might help them slim down a bit, if I could only find somewhere nearby that does that kind of stuff with dogs. Does anyone know of any place where they might have something like that? If this sounds sill, then feel free to start laughing as you read this, but, I am serious about trying to find a place like that where they can give my dogs some help using hydrotherapeutic stuff.

Hi, have you had any luck finding a place yet? I'm actually considering hydrotherapy for my Newfie.
If you haven't found a place yet a few sources you can try are doing online searches, checking with vets, holistic and traditional. Holistic vets tend to refer their patients for hydrotherapy. Just a thought.
Good luck.

We have a great place in NJ called Pet PT I found it by calling around to local specialty vet hospitals and asking for info, you can also try that and calling vet teaching universities in your area

Here is a place I found in Michigan that is a rehab clinic for pets.

If they are not in your area, they may be able to tell you one that is.

I found it by going to google and entering the following: pet hydrotherapy in MI

If you do a google search like I did, you should be able to find one closer to you.
