dog has accidents when using flea control

my 1 year old dog never has accidents. i tried a normal "pesticide" montly flea drop and he had a couple accidents. recently i tried another one, all natural, sergeants flea drops for 15 pounds and under and he had a couple accidents already. he has accidents only a day or two after applying the flea drops.

has anyone ever heard of this??

I've heard of some bad reactions with the second brand you listed. More of what I've heard have been skin reactions. I think some animals nervous systems have been affected. If you do a google search you will probably find some information.

You really should take your dog to the vet and get flea control. There have been a lot of instances where animals have died from using the flea control bought over the counter at Walmart/Target/etc. Hartz Mountain and Sargants have been some of the most reported with animal deaths.

I agree. Flea control is more serious than people think, because of side effects from medicine.
