Ear Mites and polyp??

Hi:

I have a cat with ear mites I have been treating him with Revolution but he has a polyp that is very visible when you look into the ear......I was using a ear wash in his ear but the wash even has trouble getting into the ear because of the polyp that seems to be blocking the canal.

Has anybody had this problem with their cats? And what would the vet do?

I don't have alot of money for surgery to remove the polyp so I am worried about going to the vet in case they want to remove the polyp.

They would most likely remove it and treat the ear mites. Sorry a vet visit is in order. Contact them. Sometimes they have a good repayment plan.
