wanting to adopt

i live in a small town in Va. and there are only a few animal adoption centers around and even fewer shelters.I am looking to adopt a rabbit to be a companion for my 1 year old male rabbit.I have been to all the centers and shelters but none of them have rabbits.I would love to adopt a dog or cat but i can't as heartbreaking as it is.But if there is anyone who lives in Va and knows where i could find a center or shelter that have rabbits for adoption please let me know.Thank you!

Have you tried looking on petfinder.com ? You type in your city and state or your zip code and you can look at anywhere that has rabbits (or whatever a person wants to adopt). I love petfinder. :) And I'm so happy you are looking to adopt! If I get another rabbit some day I want to adopt also (lost my bunny last year to uterine cancer, why I am a huge advocate for spaying rabbits now).
