My Dog is 2 years old and she has grown this weird fuzz, she snorts, has runny eyes, has some dry skin (but it isn't too bad), she has also slowly gained alot of weight and she is a broad dog. If anyone has any ideas as to what is up with her please respond. Thank you.

Have you talked to your vet about these problems?

Could be many things. But allergies come to mind. You need to see a vet though.

Thank you for replying. I'm planning on taking her to the vet. I'm pretty sure that it is allergies. I have been giving her benadryl until I can get her to the vet. It is helping her a lot. A lot of her problems have gone away. As soon as I get enough money together she is going to take a car ride with me to the vet. Thank you for your concern.

Benadryl can cause lots of issues if used for more than a day or two, especially since you have no proof till you go to the Vet that it is an allergy.
From what you said, my first guess would be hypothyroidism. Allergies don't cause weight changes.

Benadryl is safe to give a dog as long as it isn't done daily, it needs to be done in moderation. I believe that the weight gain is from her new diet that she was put on. Chicken and Rice, lamb and rice and Corn aren't natural for dogs to be eating. I think that she may have devloped a food allergy, when I adopted her the vet told me that she had allergies, and that she could grow out of it. Well not of that matters because soon she will be going to the vet.
