JoJo moves into Lucky's space

well almost. Actually Angel's cage moved over to where Tweety's cage was, Tweety's shifted over to where Lucky was and JoJo's cage went where Angel's cage had been. Did you follow all of that? If not here is the results:

One of my sisters has an Amazon Blue Front and my other sister has a Cockatoo. They do so much squawking when I'm over there or on the phone with them and they're LOUD! lol

When I went there yesterday to pick up the two birdies, all of them were quiet except for Taz. :p

Michele they all have a certain time of the day they are noisey. For instance when I arrive home after work the squawking and hellos are deafening - but I love that. Hubby says they don't greet him because he never says hello when he arrives home. I come in the door and yell " Hello!" and I am given a flock greeting!!!!

Since Taz is such a social character he squawks and talks when Nikki & Ken are there because he knows them. When we have company Taz is quiet unless we are in another room and then he might carry on a bit because he wants to be with us.

Yes, don't dare get on the telephone in that room because then all H!ll breaks loose. That is a healthy thing for them so I just go to another room or say Shhhh and for a while Taz will sit and say Shhhh.

That's funny! My sister who has the Blue Front Amazon cannot talk on the phone without all kinds of noise. Her bird is also jealous of the remote control and makes all kinds of a fuss when she's paying attention to other things.

JoJo looks very happy and I love all the cages, what is that on top of the cage that is by a chair or couch? It looks like a fun thing for the birds!!!!!
I love the cages too...JoJo's looks so ornated like the antique cages and you know me and anything that is or just looks like antiques......:D

Thanks Judy. I love JoJo's cage as it comes apart completely and easily - did it myself on Sunday.

The thing on top of Einstein's cage came along with it as part of the cage. It is kind of like an arch and gives places for the birds to climb and to hang some small toys on. Believe it or not it is very attractive to the big birds and Taz loves to hang out there. Poor Taz, he really wants to be a smaller bird -- he cannot figure out why he can't fit on our shoulders or in our hands like Einstein does.

Goodness! How many birds do you have?

I have a friend who has 2 ecclectus' (is that how you spell it?) and 2 African greys. They make more noise than the kids across the street from her house at the Boy's & Girl's Club!

One of her African Greys has learned to mimic the Nextel radio sounds. When he is feeling bored or lonesome he will make the "alert" sound and wait for people to come into the room.

She has 5 birds:
Tweety - parakeet
Einstein - Green cheek conure
Angel - Goffin's cockatoo
Taz - Blue & Gold macaw
Jo Jo - Blue fronted Amazon

They also have a cat & a Golden Retriever. :D

Looks good Diane! Is that Taz's cage on the left of the wall unit? It looks like it might be the same as Barney's. I love all the toys they have.

Yes, that is Taz's cage. His is the only one with just one toy. Everytime we put more then one toy at a time he attacks which ever he doesn't want - manages to somehow get it of the hanger and toss it to floor of the cage. We all know what hits the floor of the cage so it can't be left there if we want to use it again. So Taz is a spartan type of man.
