Lucky Bird gets a new home

Well while petsitting for Nikki & Ken's new tiel Polly we allowed Lucky Bird and Polly in same cage with supervision. They bonded instantly and were upset to be apart in separate cages when we went out or at night. So after discussing it Jason asked Nikki if she would like to take Lucky Bird. The rest is history. I got a sure sign that this was meant to be when Nikki gave Lucky Bird a scritch and he reached his head up for it. Neither hubby or I had ever been able to give Lucky Bird a scritch.

Now Lucky Bird's moving freed up just a tinsy bit of room in the family/bird room and I was able to do some rearranging yesterday so JoJo's cage could be moved down from upstairs and in there. Photos of that to come later.

Awww they look very happy and congratulations Nikki!!!!!! Do you know if Lucky bird is a male or female???? Better be careful you or you will be grandparents LOL I love the pictures from both of you and hurry Diane, I want to see the finished project with the rearanging of the cages etc.....

I was told that Lucky was a male, but Polly could be also. They get along so good in the same cage though. Here's a little video that I took of Lucky, um, I dunno what he's doing. :p

How cool that they get along so well and that you took Lucky Bird Nikki. I like the big cage they get to share too!
