What foods have you discovered work best for your feline friends?

Eukanuba. I wouldn't say it's best. But it'll do since other better foods are not readily available here.
I feed Natural Balance. They have several formulas for cats in both dry and canned. If you e-mail them with any questions they always send coupons.

I feed Royal Canin Maine Coon 31, Science Diet Hairball Control and Science Diet Oral Control. Mix them all together in a large tin and scoup it into their bowls. Fancy Feast is a daily treat. One can shared.
They do very well on this. No hairballs and no vet bills for dental cleanings in the 3 1/2 years I have had these two boys.

At the moment Purina Gourmet Gold (wet) and Trophy Pets dry food.
But I tend to change regularly because they both get bored easily

Changing too often can be bad for them

Frankie is on a canned food once a day, then dry Purina for older cats to help with UTI. She is doing great and this has been her diet for quite sometime now. She is picky about her canned though. She wants Tuna and other fish ingrediants or chicken. She does not care for beef at all.

Gypsy doesn't care for beef much either

All three of my cats love Friskie's Dental Diet. I've tried them on other foods, but this works the best for them. One of my cats is a pig, but has a very sensitive stomach. In the past few years she's been on this her vomiting and bloody bowlmovements have decreased significantly. The only problem is that around here it's hard to find, I'm afraid that they might be discontinuing the line. That would suck!

My Persian will only eat Fancy Feast - go figure! All the others (13 of them!) eat Nutro and Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul, both canned and dry. Both are spendy, especially with all these mouths to feed, but worth it I think.

My cats love that new cat food out by Purina. It has vitamins & minerals in it & has leafy greens & chicken & salmon. Morris is allergic to red dye # 40, so I have to read the labels before choosing a cat food.

Nutro Natural Choice indoor cats... i feel much better giving my cats this food, and they are never overweight, and always have a shiny coat! (and they love it)

Changing this. I found someone that carries Wellness. So that is what he is eating now. I have a 50/50 mixture of wet and dry.

I know what you are going through but for me with the dreaded peanut. I'm deathly allergic to them.
Your poor kitty.
My cats eat nothing but Meow Mix.
Tiger is very picky and it's really all he'll eat...
He's getting better at trying new things though.

Iams lamb and rice, and Iams for indoor cats. No wet food. Plenty of water with ice cubes on occasion. They love to lick the cubes.

Purina kitten chow for the babies. Then i give purina indoor formula to my older cat.
He cant seem to handle anything else.
I also give about 2 teaspoons of wet food{friskees} to them all everyday.
With my older cat i find giving him just a bit of wet food daily actually helps with his coat appearance.
I raise registered persians. I feed my babies purina kitten chow or purina one kitten. The adults I feed purina one urinary tract and purina one hairball mixed half and half. New moms get canned food to help them make the babies do better. I feel with the adults it is better to keep them from ever having a problem than to correct one once they get one. I used to feed thrive to my outside cats and then I used meow mix on all of them (they did ok)but then purina sold that to alley cat so I moved up to a little better quality food.

I feed my adult cat IAMS indoor cat formula. and my kittens right now are getting a mother cat milk replacement until their old enough to start eating food.
I had been feeding Natural Balance, but it is hard to get in my area. I switched to Solid Gold Katz-n-Flocken. Wow! My cats love this food, and are doing great on it.

I feed all my cats the Life's Abundance dry and Instinctive Choice wet. I am also a rep for the company. I chose this line because of the quality of the food and the unsurpassed integrity of the company. What I like the most is that these products never sit on a shelf in any store. They are delivered directly to the client. There is never a worry as to whether the product has been sitting in a trailer for days, in heat/cold, waiting to be put on a shelf. The distribution process is just as important as what ingredients are going into the food.
I honestly don't think my 19 year old Bootsie would even be with me if she wasn't getting the nutrition she has been getting. She has hypo thyroid and eats so very little.
