Hi All,
I was going to buy a parrot, but after much thought, I decided that I could not take on the commitment of owning one. Therefore I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a Mina bird, I have done some research and they are allot easier to take care of, and they can also talk. Thanks all for helping me find one of these.

Hi Walter,
I found a site that sells Mynah birds and you may also be interested in the other bird info on that site. So here it is.

I heard that Mynahs are the number one mimicking bird. They also require a special diet. They sound great.

Here's the e-mail address of a greater indian hill mynah breeder in Texas: raydm1@yahoo.com Just a comment- you said that you didn't know if you could commit to owning a parrot, but mynahs are a very big commitment as well. Good luck, and let us know what happens!

Thanks all, redstorm, if you could give me the e-mail address of the breeder near you that would be great. I would like to get a baby, similar to a parrot (weaned, but still a baby). Thanks again. Sorry it took me so long to answer, I have been on vacation for the past week.

If you look under "PICS' at this site you will find a picture that Jason posted recently. It shows a baby mynah bird.
