has anyone checked?

Dear Moderators,

I moderate three live avatar chats and we often have kids come in with inflammatory remarks in an attempt to get negative attention. When this happens with us, and it happens almost daily, we can check users' IP's to see if it a member jerking the room around, or a person with a whopping lie from a totally different area than they are claiming.

There is a recent thread regarding a teenager who claims to be a gang member about to loose his dog. Has anyone checked this story out? It sounds remarkably similar to some of the stories we hear.

I have read this and it seems like a cry for help...I don't about him losing his dog but more about him!

I suspect that the board owner must have checked this out, as the member was banned.
